I dance 25 hours a week, and I have to say these are perfect for the price. I'm not very picky, so others might have much different opinions, but they work. and they also hold up pretty well. my studio isn't big on shoes so I use these for everything but ballet, tap, pointe, and musical theatre. and most of the time when I'm just practicing I use these for ballet. order a size up than the chart says, and yes, the toe holes are small, but when you get them it even says to cut the holes to fit. the seam at the bottom can press into the foot a bit, but no so much that it's restricting. I find them too light for my skin tone but I soak them in coffee for a bit. the thing I like is that nice you get a hole in them, you can afford to buy a new pair. mine have held up to what my studio calls "hell season" which are auditions, long practices, intensives, competitions, and I am also in acting/modeling, so I use these for the commercials I'm in. they have lasted a whopping two months so far, and not even a hole, but they are getting thin. these are totally worth it, and I think they are much better than the dance paws. I will never buy anything else.

well made, comfortable, with some issues
These are great, but they seem to move back and forth on my spinning (right) foot and don't stay on very well. Perhaps I actually needed a size smaller?

About Me Dance Instructor
I purchased the Mesh Half Lyrical Shoe for an 8 year old, and they are way too small. I would recommend purchasing the Mesh Half Lyrical Shoe from a dance shop, and try before you buy. I can't return them, so I am stuck with them
Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

These would be perfect if I could actually get them on my feet! I struggled for almost ten minutes trying to get these on and then I had to take them off a few minutes into our warm up because it felt like they were practically cutting off my circulation. I even bought a bigger size and it's just way too uncomfortable.

Cuts off Circulation!

This is my fourth time buying half soles, and I thought I'd branch out to this kind. I have to say I'm disappointed. The holes for your toes on these are sooooo small!! While the rest of the shoe fit well, my toes were very uncomfortable and turned a little purple after only one convention class. Definitely not going to buy these again. I'll stick with the Foot Undeez

These are difficult and slow to put on and look a little odd in comparison to the classic foot undeez. We ended up returning them and bought the more expensive foot undeez with better padding.
Run small low quality, gets the job done

They're true to their price, which is cheap. They have a rubbery lining around the edge to keep them from falling off which is nice, except that the seam on each side sticks out quite far so it pokes your skin and leaves an indentation in your skin when you take them off.I am a medium and ordered a large and they fit perfectly. The bottom of them is a soft velvetty sort of material so they don't make turns, going into the splits, or anything else that requires sliding on the balls of your feet any easier. If you want a cheap product that has a few kinks, buy these.
so far, so good
I only wore it for 2 rehearsals so far, but just the fact that the mesh didn't rip on the fingers already paid out. It's actually cute, tight enough not to slip from the foot and not too tight that it cuts my foot in 2. The mesh can get the foot a little sore depending on the movements, but that's not really a con for me.
too difficult to use

I ordered a size up as was recommended. It takes me about 5 minutes to work all my toes into those holes and it is a struggle to get each toe in there.
