I've received many compliments on my red, silver, and gold sashes while out at both studio dances and nightclubs. The sequins lie sufficiently flat to allow me to tie a nice knot. The narrow unsequined strip sandwiched between each long edge and the wide center section makes it easy to fold in the edges to create a narrower, more flattering look around the waist. I haven't had any sequins drop off, and the background mesh is plenty strong to withstand sash leading (a lead initiated by a pull of my sash instead of my hand). I am tempted to add a little weight to the ends of the sash, but as-is the tails flare up nicely when I spin.

the real problem I had was that the sashes was not coverall over with sequins.

I bought this sash because I joined the praise dance team at my church. I wanted a sash that i could wrap twice and tie in front. I must not have carefully read the descripition. The sash I received although very pretty was too narrow and too short to wrap twice unless you werea little pre-teen girl.
